IEEE - Kansas City Section Our Section covers a large geographic area bounded by the Kansas border on the north and the Missouri border on the south. The western boundary reaches far into Kansas and the eastern boundary reaches far into Missouri. Our 2006 Section Chair, Dr. Ken Vollmar, lives in Springfield, MO. Our incoming 2007 Section Chair, Richard B. Hodgman is right here in Kansas City.
